ProductView PDF Collaboration

ProductView PDF Collaboration modules allow you to easily collaborate with your entire product development team by enabling notations and comments on PDF documents. With these powerful tools you can automatically generate PDF files for secure document reviews, as well as record annotations and watermarks without altering the actual document.

All product stakeholders can review concepts and make comments inside important design and manufacturing documents such as specifications, assembly instructions, and scanned legacy drawings—without disturbing the original contents. As an integral part of the PTC Product Development System, these ProductView modules can directly generate PDF drawings from Pro/ENGINEER, while Windchill can manage the review process for all of these PDF-based documents.

ProductView PDF Collaboration Modules

ProductView Adapter for PDF
A server-side module for creating PDF files from Microsoft Office documents. Also can be used with ProductView Lite or ProductView Standard to create PDF documents of Pro/ENGINEER files.

ProductView PDF Collaboration Option
Optional client-side module that provides full document collaboration capabilities, including annotation, viewing, and watermarking. Includes a limited Adobe Acrobat license.

ProductView PDF Collaboration Interface
Optional client-side module that allows view, markup, print, and watermarking of PDF files. Appropriate for customers who already have Adobe Acrobat licenses.

Automatic and Secure PDF Generation
Generate PDFs based on either the revision of the native file or at a particular stage in the document’s lifecycle.

Synchronize multiple reviewers of the same PDF file
